Your Internship Journey

Our structured internship programme provides hands-on experience and mentorship to prepare you for a successful cybersecurity career—from application through credentials and career support.

  1. Internship Application & Interview

Candidates begin their journey by submitting an application for a specific cybersecurity domain. Each applicant completes a technical assessment to demonstrate their skills and interest. Shortlisted candidates are invited to a formal interview to assess their suitability for the selected specialization.

  2. Internship Selection

Candidates are selected based on their performance in the assessment and interview. Once selected, each candidate is assigned to the cybersecurity domain they initially applied for. Onboarding instructions and internship details are shared upon confirmation.

  3. Platform Orientation & Onboarding

Selected candidates receive training on the Internship Management Platform. This includes guidance on accessing tasks, submitting reports, receiving feedback from mentors, and tracking overall progress throughout the internship.

  4. Specialized Training

Candidates undergo focused training in the specific cybersecurity domain assigned during the application process. This phase ensures each candidate is equipped with the foundational and role-specific knowledge necessary to complete their assigned tasks.

  5. Practical Task Execution

During the internship, candidates work on hands-on tasks and projects that simulate real-world cybersecurity challenges. Weekly task reports are submitted through the platform and evaluated by assigned mentors who provide detailed feedback and recommendations.

  6. Ongoing Technical Mentorship

Throughout the internship, candidates have access to continuous mentorship and technical support. Regular guidance sessions and feedback ensure consistent growth and skill development in their chosen domain.

  7. Completion & Credentials

Guided Track participants who successfully meet the current programme requirements may receive the applicable completion documents. Any performance-based recommendation is conditional, subject to review, and not guaranteed.

  8. Post-Internship Career Support

Career-development guidance may include CV and professional-profile review, interview preparation, and help presenting sanitised portfolio evidence. It does not guarantee employment, placement, or referral.

Capstone Project

Every internship track culminates in a practical capstone project designed to simulate real industry workflows—giving you portfolio evidence of hands-on cybersecurity experience.

  1. 1

    Define scope & objectives

Identify a realistic security scenario aligned with your track—incident investigation, penetration test, compliance audit, or threat hunt.

  2. 2

    Execute in lab environments

Apply industry-standard tools and methodologies to complete structured practical work that mirrors junior security role deliverables.

  3. 3

    Document findings professionally

Produce reports, evidence chains, and remediation recommendations using the documentation standards employers expect.

  4. 4

    Present portfolio-ready work

Finish with a capstone deliverable suitable for interviews—demonstrating hands-on cybersecurity experience on your CV and LinkedIn profile.
